August has indeed been a month to remember! Our boys did a fantastic job in their series against Australia, and reminded us that as a nation, we are among the best in the cricketing world - it has always been my father's dream and mine to achieve the same level of success in bringing Sri Lankan hospitality to the world.

With our developments over the next few months, we plan on doing exactly that - we celebrate our 10th anniversary in October of Jetwing Vil Uyana, a property that people deemed impossible! Then in December, we will unveil Jetwing Colombo Seven, Jetwing Lake, and Jie Jie Beach by Jetwing; not one, but three brand new and exciting properties.

We are, and will always be, the home of Sri Lankan hospitality. Do continue to send in your thoughts and comments, as we value them immensely!

It is a great honour for Jetwing Hotels to be once again bestowed with the PATA Grand Award for the Jetwing Youth Development Project (JYDP) under the education and training category since its first award in 2007. Ten years since its inception, 'A Journey of Hope and Progress - The Jetwing Youth Development Project' will receive its second Grand Award at the awards ceremony in Indonesia on September 9, 2016. Over the years Jetwing Hotels has inspired the lives of 600 youth across 40 villages in the country and has seen to successful completion of 12 programs with 6 ongoing projects nurturing many young dreams to fruition.
